How we make disciples and plant churches
Discipleship Avenue Ministries exists to help people follow Jesus deeply and share His hope in Mokono and beyond. Through Bible teaching, close-knit discipleship, and practical outreach, we equip believers to serve, lead, and start new worshiping communities.
Bible-centered discipleship
We teach Scripture clearly and apply it to everyday life—helping new believers grow in faith, form godly habits, and learn to share the gospel with confidence.
— Rooted in God’s Word
Life-on-life community
We grow through relationships: small groups, mentoring, prayer, and accountability. No one is meant to walk alone—there’s a place to belong, ask questions, and be strengthened.
— We disciple together
Church planting & outreach
We serve our neighbors and raise leaders who can start new gatherings where the gospel is needed. From local evangelism to support for new works, we aim to multiply healthy, loving churches.

Mokono, Uganda · discipleship in everyday life
We believe Jesus’ call is simple and costly: “Follow Me.” Our mission is to walk with people from first steps of faith into mature, steady obedience—learning Scripture, prayer, and life-on-life community. Through small discipleship groups, practical teaching, and caring relationships, we help believers build a foundation that holds in real life: in family, work, school, and seasons of hardship.
“We are not only gathering a crowd—we are forming disciples who live the Word and share it.”
From that foundation, we pursue church planting. As men and women grow in faith and leadership, we send and support teams to start simple, Bible-centered communities where the gospel is not yet rooted. Our heart is to see local churches led by local believers—churches that worship, serve their neighbors, and keep reproducing disciples in the power of the Holy Spirit.
Whether you are new to faith, looking for a church family, or longing to serve, there is a place for you here. Join us for worship, ask for prayer, step into a discipleship group, or volunteer in outreach. If you want to learn more about our vision and how to partner with us, we would love to hear from you.
